Kimchi is a South Korean Probiotic delicacy and contains live bacteria that is good for general health and aids digestion. Made from lacto fermented napa cabbage, kimchi can be topped over your dishes or used as a side or just consume two spoonfuls everyday as an healthy diet supplement. Crispy cabbage strips, carrot along with chili and tomato paste is left to ferment naturally. Its juices taste sour and spicy. A mouthwatering delicacy for sure!

Kimchi by its nature doesn’t really have an expiry period. Since they are fermented, the older they get the more alive it becomes with the healthy gut friendly bacteria. 


Shelf life:
Once the jar is opened, try to finish the probiotic within 4 months unless you take fermented food on regular levels. 

Kimchi has Korean roots while the almost similar probiotic called Sauerkraut is German.
